Providing Better Lens for Clearer and Sharper Surveillance Image
To solve different security issues, PLANET provides various camera solutions, among which the CAM-IR560V Infrared vari-focal camera that works with PLANET Digital Video Recorders or Internet Video Servers helps people to easily create a secure protection system for their daily lives.

The CAM-IR560V produces pictures reaching 700TV Lines (TVL) of horizontal resolution when integrated with the highly sensitive color Sony DSP 1/3" interline transfer Charge Coupled Device (CCD) image sensor. Its auto-iris lens will then adjust the amount of light that passes through the lens automatically to help form a sharp and clear image.

TV Lines are a measure of horizontal resolution that must be measured using a specialized chart like the one shown below. It helps to detect the number of TV Lines that a camera produces because the human eyes cannot detect them.

Dedicated Monitoring with High Resolution CCD
The CAM-IR560V is designed with the highly sensitive color 1/3� Sony 960H Super HAD II high resolution CCD image sensor with built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chip-set to provide clearer pictures with higher sensitivity compared to conventional CCTV cameras. The DSP makes the camera process speedier and higher efficient, and save more electricity.

Vari-focal Offers the Best Recording Flexibility
The CAM-IR560V built-in Vari-focal Lens with ICR 2.8~12mm / F1.4 provides a range of focal lengths allowing users to zoom in/out the image with one lens, which has the options of selecting a high millimeter setting for narrow viewing fields or a low millimeter setting for wider viewing fields.

Day & Night Functionality
For a clear surveillance image both in the day and night, the CAM-IR560V can prevent the annoying halo issue that always accompanies with the IR camera, with its 48 built-in IR LEDs that offer a long IR distance of up to 50 meters. A display resolution of 700TV Lines makes the still image clear even at night. Thus, the CAM-IR560V is able to maintain clear images 24 hours a day.
