【埃博拉简介】

埃博拉（Ebola virus）又译作伊波拉病毒。是一种十分罕见的病毒，1976年在苏丹南部和刚果（金）（旧称扎伊尔）的埃博拉河地区发现它的存在后，引起医学界的广泛关注和重视，“埃博拉”由此而得名。是一个用来称呼一群属于纤维病毒科埃博拉病毒属下数种病毒的通用术语。是一种能引起人类和灵长类动物产生埃博拉出血热的烈性传染病病毒，有很高的死亡率，在50%至90%之间，致死原因主要为中风、心肌梗塞、低血容量休克或多发性器官衰竭。

埃博拉出血热（EBHF）是由一种丝状病毒感染导致的急性出血性、动物源性传染病。1976年，埃博拉出血热在非洲的苏丹和扎伊尔暴发，病死率高达50% ～ 90% 。因该病始发于扎伊尔北部的埃博拉河流，并在该区域严重流行，故命名为埃博拉病毒，其形态学、致病性等与马尔堡病毒相似，但免疫原性有所区别。

美国UIC大学两位埃博拉传染病学专家认为，当前形式的埃博拉病毒已经能够通过气溶胶传播。有科学和流行病学证据显示，埃博拉病毒有可能通过气溶胶颗粒传播，这表明医疗工作者应戴呼吸罩而非口罩。
气溶胶又称气胶、烟雾质，是指固体或液体微粒稳定地悬浮于气体介质中形成的分散体系。一般大小在0.01~10微米之间，可分为自然和人类产生两种。[72]
病例分析埃博拉
美国本土确诊的*埃博拉病毒携带者、42岁的邓肯(Thomas Eric Duncan)，8日早晨在得克萨斯州医院隔离病房死亡。收治邓肯的达拉斯得州卫生长老会医院发言人沃特森(Wendell Watson)8日表示，“我们以沉痛的心情和极度的悲伤宣布，邓肯于今天早晨7点51分埃博拉。邓肯死于恶疾埃博拉，他曾与病魔勇敢*。我们的专业人员、医生和护士，以及全体达拉斯社区得州卫生长老会医院，都对他的埃博拉表示深切悲痛。”
利比里亚人邓肯，于9月中旬抵达得克萨斯州探亲，是美国*个被确诊患有埃博拉的患者，也成为美国死于该疾病的*人。
邓肯离开利比里亚之前曾经接触过致命的埃博拉病毒，当他乘飞机于9月20日到达美国时还没有表现出任何症状。几天后，感到身体不适的邓肯到卫生长老会医院急诊室就诊，医院忽视了其旅行记录而让他回家。两天后，邓肯被救护车送回该院接受“严格隔离”。9月30日，美国疾病控制与预防中心检测确认，邓肯为美国本土发现的*埃博拉病毒患者。
医院的这一过失使得更多人暴露于被感染的危险之中。与邓肯有过直接或间接接触的48名家人、医护工作者和朋友目前都处于隔离或密切监测中。

Case Study Ebola
The first Ebola virus carrier in the United States, Thomas Eric Duncan, 42, died in the Texas hospital isolation ward on the morning of the 8th.
